History

United Christian Outreach Church was founded on August 2, 1987, by Pastors Ken and Monica Peacock. The church started in a storefront building in Radio Center on Cumberland Street. In 1990, they purchased the current property at 1109 Merwin Street, just off the corner of Liberty Hill and Morris Boulevard, behind the Popkin Baseball Field.

The church is a fundamental, Bible believing, Pentecostal church, and independently chartered. We have Sunday school at 10 am, with the Worship Service beginning at 11 am. Sunday night, we have service at 7 pm. On Wednesday, church begins at 7 pm.

Some of our outreaches include the weekly prayer meetings and the Oasis ministry. The Oasis, a faith based Christian coffee house ministry, is the vision and ministry of Sister Nadine Peters. The coffee house is located at 115 North Henry Street, downtown Morristown, and open Tuesday thru Friday from 7 am to 2:30 pm. Coffee, fellowship, prayer, personal ministering, and Bible study are freely available to all. Every Saturday, a regular service is held at 6 pm. These services use a variety of ministers, singers, and musicians. Please stop by and fellowship with Sister Nadine and others at the Oasis.

Pastors Ken and Monica Peacock, along with the entire church body and family, extend to you a warm welcome to join us in fellowship:
